Development Academy

PROGRAM INFORMATION

The Twin Cities Rush Development Academy is a training program designed for U7-8 players who have experience playing soccer and are ready for group instruction, preparing players for U9 Competitive traveling soccer.

Players learn foundational techniques under the guidance of paid/professional and Competitive coaches, alongside players who want the same training environment. One training and one game experience per week, offered year-round via five seasons.

Fall - August to October
Winter 1 - November to December
Winter 2 - January to February
Winter 3 - February to April
Spring - May to June

Player Age Group: U7 – U8 (player born 2017-2018)

Cost: $170 early bird pricing ($197 after February 9)

Registration fully closes February 17, or when capacity is reached.

WINTER 3 DA SCHEDULE

February 24 to March 9

Mondays 5:00-6:00pm

Thursdays 6:00-7:00pm

March 10 to March 16

No sessions 3/10 and 3/13 due to Spring Break

March 17 to April 10

Mondays 5:30-6:30pm

Thursdays 6:30-7:30pm

All events will be in the M Health Fairview Dome (indoor turf) at the National Sports Center.

Games are played in-house amongst TC Rush DA players.

The DA is not open to players outside the specified age group (2017 or 2018 birth years).

There are no buddy requests, nor coach requests.

PLAYMETRICS

Once registration closes, enrolled families will be added to the program's PlayMetrics page to see the full schedule and begin receiving communications.

PLAYER JERSEY & EQUIPMENT

New DA will receive one Capelli Developmental youth top during their first season. To purchase an additional jersey for $20, contact czubal@twincitiesrush.com.

It is preferred that players wear black shorts and socks to all events. Cleats or flat athletic shoes may be worn on the turf.

Shin guards are required to participate. Players are responsible for a bringing a size-4 soccer ball and water to all events.
