PROGRAM goal

The goal of the program is for Junior Coaches to gain coaching knowledge and experience to the extent where they can confidently and effectively lead training sessions and games. After the conclusion of the program, we want to feel confident in hiring the participants as members of the TCR coaching staff.

SCHEDULE

January 2023 – March 2023
Must attend 10 sessions/games during this timeframe

PROGRAM INFORMATION

• Assist their mentor in running the session and manage games
• Speak with players individually and as a group 
• Be a role model
• Help demonstrate activities 
• Plan and run a full session 
• Fill out weekly timesheet 
• Complete all Junior Coach Education tasks
• Regular communication with assigned Mentor and DOC
• After a participant completes the program they will receive Capelli gear and a certificate of completion.
