Twin Cities Rush relies on volunteer parent coaches to manage teams, conduct practices and games and communicate day-to-day team information with families. We provide access to practice plans for coaches of all levels (see "Coaching Resources" section below). All teams MUST have a parent coach in place prior to the first practice.

Create memories with your child
Fun and rewarding experience
50% reimbursement of your child's registration fees; 25% for co-coaching
We understand that not everyone has the same background and experience with soccer. Because of this, TC Rush supports our parent coaches by scheduling practices and games, providing access to the Rush online coaching manual with pre-built season and session plans, offering guidance from our full-time coaches and providing equipment (cones and goalkeeper pinnies).
Twin Cities Rush provides player jerseys. Players must wear soccer socks, closed toed athletic shoes or soccer cleats, athletic shorts or pants, and shin guards. Player is responsible for a bringing soccer ball each day (see "Ball Size Chart" below).
Please note that TC Rush Rec soccer began a new uniform cycle with the 2024 Fall Rec season. This cycle will run from Fall 2024 through Fall 2025. ALL PLAYERS NEED TO KEEP AND USE THE JERSEYS THEY RECEIVE FOR THE ENTIRETY OF THIS CYCLE. Any replacement jerseys will need to be ordered separately using the link to the right.
Each new player (first TC Rush Rec registration within the '24-'25 cycle) will receive a set of two jerseys: one blue "home" jersey and one white "away" jersey. Personalization is available on the blue jersey during the Early-Bird registration period for an additional charge. Personalization may not be available on replacement jerseys, please reach out to Kay for clarification.

Recreational soccer stresses the participation, enjoyment, sportsmanship, skill development, safety, and teamwork aspects of the game. The goal is for the players to learn and fall in love with the sport of soccer.
Our Rec teams are formed by Rush staff and coached by parent volunteers. All Rec teams will be coached by a parent volunteer. Rush staff will support this volunteer parent with coaching education tools and pre-made training sessions to ensure a great environment for the players.
